UAE Attacks at Start on Day 1

Chon Buri, 20 December – Day 1 of the SSL Gold Cup Asian Qualifier opened today with challenging Group B racing in Pattaya. Team UAE showed speed and intent from the start, staying in close contention in Race 1 until spinnaker issues slowed their downwind pace. In Race 2, UAE delivered an aggressive start and applied pressure across the fleet in stronger wind and heavy seas. Despite handling challenges and onboard drama, the team fought through to secure second place overall for the day. Close calls set the tone early. This battle has just begun.
