Yousuf Khalid Albastaki is a pioneer of modern sailing in the United Arab Emirates. He began his journey in the early 2000s at the Dubai International Marine Club, where he represented the UAE National Team and won multiple national and international titles. In 2012, he was selected for the Olympic Solidarity Program, becoming the first certified Emirati international sailing coach in the Middle East. He went on to lead the national team in global championships, organize major events, and develop training programs that raised the standard of Emirati sailing. Beyond competition, Yousuf is passionate about youth development and sailing education. With over 20 years of experience, he continues to blend maritime heritage with innovation — inspiring future athletes and advancing the UAE’s presence in international sailing.Best Results
